Now that the Neenah school board is going to buy a large piece of land, the district will have to decide what to do with it.
The 225-acre site is along Winchester Road, east of Clayton Avenue.
Spokesman Jim Strick believes there’s room for multiple schools there. He says the new land offers a lot of flexibility because of its size and location.
Strick says they could consider building there in the near future, or down the road.
The board is going to sell another piece of land in Fox Crossing. The district expects to make money on the trade, because the Fox Crossing property is more valuable.
Strick says they plan to hold three community meetings to listen to suggestions.
