A local tourism leader thinks the new Brown County Expo Center will have a big impact on visitor spending.
Brad Toll is with the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau. He says communities invest in projects like this because they’re economic engines.
Toll says it will draw people from across the country and they’ll spend money in the surrounding communities as well.
The $93 million facility will replace the Veterans Memorial Arena and Shopko Hall. Project leaders expect it to open in January of 2021.
