Neighbors around Oshkosh and the Fox Cities are getting together later today for the annual National Night Out.
Appleton Officer Meghan Cash says they’re doing something different this year. She says in the past they’ve just had the block parties throughout the city. She says this year they’re having an event in Houdini Plaza for the first time.
Cash says they’ll have a number of vehicles and demonstrations at the block party in the plaza. It’s from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this evening. There are also neighborhood block parties and cookouts in Oshkosh.
Fox Valley Metro police are holding an event at Sunset Park from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
