A federal judge is dismissing a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the estate of a man shot and killed by Green Bay police in 2015.
Joseph Biegert’s mother claims the officers violated her son’s Fourth Amendment rights by using excessive force, and conducting an unreasonable search.
Judge William Griesbach threw out the lawsuit because Biegert’s mother called police, saying her son was suicidal. Biegert was shot and killed, after stabbing an officer and threatening another officer.
