A new study finds a direct link between public transportation and public health.
The Fox Valley Thrives study focused on transportation options for those living in the Oshkosh area.
Kim Biedermann from East Central Regional Planning says access to health care starts with access to a ride. She says they also talked about wanting access to places like the grocery store and social events.
The Fox Valley Thrives study surveyed public transportation users in Oshkosh and makes several recommendations for expansion of transit throughout Winnebago County.
