The principal at Fond du Lac High School believes turning up the heat coaxed a three-foot python out into the open.
The snake went missing from its cage over Labor Day weekend. Matthew Steinbarth says Kai was found around ten Friday night. He says custodians did hourly checks in the area for the snake. He says they found Kai on the leg of the table where the snake’s cage is.
Staff waited for the snake’s owner to get him back in the cage. Steinbarth believes the snake was in a hood vent.
