People brought their water bill and frustration to an informational meeting in Oshkosh yesterday.
Leaders tried to explain why some water bills have gone up so much.
This comes after one man received an $800 bill.
Officials stress its billing system is accurate.
They estimate nationally that 10 percent of homes have leaks that waste 90 or more gallons per day.
That could be a toilet or even a hose left running.
Officials are talking about buying a system that would let customers track their water usage in real-time.
The board could take up that issue in the next two or three months.
