Some dog owners want to walk with their pets in more of Community Park in Oshkosh.
There’s already a dog park area that’s fenced in.
Winnebago County Parks Board Chair Jerry Finch of Neenah says people should be satisfied with that. He says the opposes the idea of letting people take dogs on trails, if they’re on a leash.
Supporters of dogs in Community Park say it would match the policy of Oshkosh city parks. Dogs can be on trails, when they’re on a leash.
