A state grant will help more veterans get their business ideas off the ground or expand their existing ones.
Fox Valley Technical College is receiving $100,000 for the school’s Venture Center.
Center Director Amy Pietch says they can work on their business model and plan, through the innovation accelerator program. The veterans also get a $2,500 grant to help start or grow their companies.
Pietch says they have enough funding to help 10 people this fall, and another 10 early next year.
Governor Evers stopped at Fox Valley Tech this afternoon to talk about the grant.
