ThedaCare is trying to get more people to donate marrow.
The health care provider is taking part in a registration drive.
Ashley Kelvington of the Community Blood Center says most of the time, the process is similar to giving platelets. She says they use an automated machine to remove marrow and return the rest of the blood.
People can register online to donate.
