The Oshkosh Common Council and School Board are holding a joint meeting tonight.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says the main topic will be providing students with discounted rides on GO Transit. He says a lot of districts have agreements where they pay bus systems a certain percentage, and they have one with Fox Valley Technical College.
He says they want to see if they can work something out to at least give students discounted rides.
Previous efforts to let Oshkosh school students to ride for free, or at a discount, have been derailed because the neither the city nor the district wanted to pay for it.
