Vice President Mike Pence will not visit Marinette today after all.
Pence was planning to stop at shipbuilder Marinette Marine to tour a Littoral combat ship under construction for the Navy and to speak to workers about jobs and trade.
Instead, Pence will stay in Washington D.C. to participate in a press conference with President Trump on the situation with Turkey and Syria.
Pence traveled to Turkey last week to be part of ceasefire negotiations with Turkey’s president.
There’s no word if that visit to Marinette will be rescheduled or if he will make his planned stop at packing distributor, Uline also scheduled for today.
