An Appleton woman convicted in the death of her 13-year-old daughter now wants to withdraw her plea.
Thirty-nine-year-old Nicole Gussert reached a deal with Outagamie County prosecutors in February. She entered no contest pleas to charges of child neglect and selling meth.
Her daughter, Brianna, was found dead in their home in the 800 block of W. Winnebago Street in May of 2017. The girl had developmental disabilities.
Prosecutors say Gussert couldn’t remember the last time she fed Brianna, or changed the girl’s diaper.
