The Salvation Army Fox Cities is hoping there aren’t any impacts locally from Chick-fil-A’s national decision to stop donating to the organization.
Spokeswoman Kristal Knudtson says they’re inclusive, and she believes they’re the largest local provider of poverty relief to the LGBTQ population.
Chick-fil-A announced it would donate to other homeless, hunger, and education agencies. Knudtson says that’s exactly the services the Salvation Army provides.
She also hopes the decision doesn’t hurt their annual red kettle campaign.
