Fond du Lac firefighters are crediting a driver for possibly saving two lives this morning.
Division Chief Troy Haase says she saw two people passed out on a sidewalk along E. Merrill Street around 5:30 a.m. She stopped to check on them and called 911.
He says the two males were treated for drug overdoses and hypothermia, before they were taken to a hospital.
Haase says it’s difficult to guess how long they could’ve survived without the Good Samaritan’s help. It was also raining, and he says that would’ve been a factor too.
