Most Wisconsin hunters have serious concerns about chronic wasting disease.
Marquette Law School Poll Director Charles Franklin says 65 percent of hunters and 62 percent of the general public see CWD as a threat to the future of hunting in Wisconsin.
Fifty-six percent of hunters approve of the steps the DNR is taking to limit the spread of CWD. Only 45 percent of non-hunters think state efforts have been effective.
