The leader of St. Norbert College will be staying after all.
President Brian Bruess is agreeing to a multi-year extension with the school’s Board of Trustees. The school announced three weeks ago that Bruess decided not to renew his contract, and leave in June.
A number of students protested, asking for transparency, and two members of the Board of Trustees resigned.
Today’s announcement comes a day after the trustees met behind closed doors.
Bruess graduated from St. Norbert, and he’s in his third year as the president.
