The Appleton Historical Society joins us to talk about their upcoming history fair. We’re hearing from Jim Richter and Mark Moderson. The history fair is December 7 from 9-12:30 at the Indoor Farmer’s Market, City Center Plaza.
A great holiday spot we love to visit is Lamers Dairy! We’re joined by Michelle Mauk-Lacey the Marketing Director for Lamers, to hear about the history of Lamers Dairy, the gifting options in the store for the holidays, the personalized “touch” that they offer customers!
The 3rd annual Santa Cycle rolls through Downtown Green Bay on Saturday, December 14th. The event raises funds for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. We’re joined by Action 2 Sports Director Chris Roth, who shares his connection to Children’s and why this is an event anyone can take part in.
A special 6-year-old boy will receive his Make-A-Wish this evening. Ben’s Wish will bring 16,000 lights all synchronized to his favorite pop, rock and Christmas songs. The public is welcome to visit the shows starting December 5, and they will run every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Each night will consist of two shows; 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The display is located at N255 Rogers Lane in Appleton.
