A special committee in Outagamie County that’s focusing on next year’s census is looking for ways to reach the hardest people to count.
Karen Nelson is the vice chair of the group, and she says that includes the homeless. She says they want to work with nonprofits, faith-based groups, local governments, and small businesses.
The census gets underway in April.
