Winnebago County will rebuild a section of the road along Lake Winnebago, between Neenah and Oshkosh, this summer.
Highway A will be shut down between Highway GG and Indian Point Road for the project.
County Highway Commissioner Ray Pelonen says drivers will have to follow a detour. It will follow Hwy. GG to the I-41 frontage road and Hwy. 76.
Winnebago County is getting $2.8 million in federal funding for the project. The timetable for construction hasn’t been set yet.
