A woman is facing formal charges for the death of her two-month-old child in Fond du Lac in 2018.
Twenty-six-year-old Shauntina Fuller-Pankey is accused of causing severe head injuries. Prosecutors say a doctor told investigators he’s only seen one other fracture like that, and it was from a kid being driven into a concrete barrier.
Fuller-Pankey moved to Milwaukee, and Fond du Lac police arrested her earlier this month.
Prosecutors say the father believed she had postpartum depression.
Fuller-Pankey is charged with first-degree reckless homicide and child abuse.
