Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes will take part in the Appleton school district’s Black History Month celebration tomorrow.
Barnes and state Superintendent of Schools Carolyn Stanford Taylor will be at the event. They’re the first African-Americans to hold their positions, in state history.
The celebration starts at 3 p.m. at Appleton North High School.
