Outagamie County’s leader is raising concerns that some in the Hmong community could be deported.
There are reports that the Trump administration is negotiating with Laos, about non-U.S. citizens.
County Executive Tom Nelson wants Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson of Oshkosh to hold a hearing to get answers. He says deportations could have tremendous impacts on families that have been in the U.S. for years.
He says the Hmong are a big part of the Fox Valley community.
