Brown County Sheriff’s deputies accuse a man of making up a story about another man trying to rob him in Allouez last weekend.
The man initially told investigators he was using a tractor to plow snow, when a man with a knife demanded money. The man said he has a concealed carry permit, and he pulled out a gun. He claimed the suspect ran off.
The Sheriff’s Department will ask prosecutors to charge the man with lying to deputies.
