A Broadway musical that won 10 Tony Awards is coming to downtown Appleton in May.
Tickets for “The Band’s Visit” go on sale at 10 a.m. today, at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
PAC President Maria Van Laanen says it’s the first year of the musical’s national tour, after the show won the 2018 Tony Award for Best Musical. She says it’s a beautiful story of how people can have connections, even if they have different upbringings.
The story follows an Egyptian band that has to spend a night in a remote village in the middle of the Israeli desert.
The musical will be at the PAC from May 5-10.
