Students at UW-Green Bay, St. Norbert College in De Pere and some others around the state are shifting to online classes because of coronavirus.
That will start after next week’s spring break.
Both local schools also don’t want students to come back to campus when spring break is done. UW-Green Bay Interim Chancellor Sheryl Van Gruensven says they’re making accommodations if students can’t go home.
St. Norbert will also give students a place to stay, if necessary.
Both schools are also telling people to self-quarantine for 14 days, if they travel to areas where coronavirus is spreading in the community.
UW-Oshkosh is going to take some extra time before deciding how coronavirus will impact students.
The school’s spring break starts a week later than many other campuses. Administrators plan to monitor the spread before making a decision on how to handle classes.
