Sick pets can still get help during the “safer at home” order.
The doors of the Green Bay and Allouez Animal Hospitals are closed, but veterinarian Becky Krull says they’re offering curbside VIP service. She says owners call from the parking lot, and staffers go to the car to bring the pets inside.
When the treatment is done, the veterinarians stand outside the car, to talk with the owner.
Krull says the state is only asking veterinarians to perform essential services. She says they get to decide what’s considered essential for each animal’s health.
