Drivers won’t be able to use a stretch of Highway CE in Kaukauna, starting today.
The Outagamie County highway department will be rebuilding the road from the roundabout at Highway 55, east to Highway Q, by the high school.
Highway Commissioner Dean Steingraber says they’re going to remove the asphalt, grind it, and lay it back down. He says they’re also going to extend a second lane, from the Highway 55 roundabout east to the entrance to the nearby shopping center.
The project is expected to be done in June.
