The bankrupt owners of the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh say they might be ready to walk away from the facility.
In the latest re-organization plan, Fox Valley Pro Basketball is setting a date of November 17th to sell its future TIF payments from the city, or turn over the arena to Bayland Buildings and liquidate the company.
If that happened, other creditors wouldn’t get any money back.
Bayland says it would look at ways to keep the arena open.
Bayland and the City of Oshkosh are filing objections to the plan. They believe letting the current owners run the arena until November would put the Wisconsin Herd’s lease in jeopardy.
Another hearing on the reorganization plan is scheduled for Wednesday.
