A biomedical teacher at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay had to get creative to show students how to install and maintain medical equipment.
Don Cormier decided to have them work on a vacuum, while they’re at home. He believes the principles are the same, whether it’s an old vacuum or medical equipment, students need to know how to find a problem and fix it.
Cormier says used vacuum cleaners were inexpensive, and easy to find online.
