The percentage of new positive coronavirus tests from the past day went down to 6.9 percent.
Yesterday’s figure was 8.1 percent. Thursday’s was 5.7 percent and Wednesday’s was 7.9 percent.
Governor Evers wants to see the percentage decline for 14 straight days.
There are now 9,939 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. That’s 4 percent more than yesterday’s total of 9,590.
There have been 398 confirmed coronavirus deaths in Wisconsin. That’s 14 more than yesterday. In Brown County, 18 people have now died.
Brown County has 57 new cases and 1,834 overall.
Winnebago added seven, for a total of 98. Outagamie has six more, and 111 overall.
Three counties each have two new cases. Kewaunee is at 28, Manitowoc 19, and Waupaca 13.
Three counties added one more case. Fond du Lac has 86, Calumet 35, and Green Lake seven.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 18 percent. Forty-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
