Today is the first day for coronavirus testing at the first large drive-up site in the Fox Valley.
It’s set up at Fox Valley Technical College in Grand Chute.
Mary Dorn of Outagamie County Public Health says local health departments are picking the people that can go today and tomorrow. She says they’re looking to target specific groups, including certain workers.
That changes from Wednesday through Friday, when anyone living in Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties can get a free test, if they have at least one COVID-19 symptom.
Members of the Wisconsin National Guard are helping.
Brown County will now let essential workers get tested, even if they don’t have any symptoms. That takes effect today, at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon and Casa ALBA Melanie in downtown Green Bay.
