The mass testing site for three counties in the Fox Valley opened yesterday.
It’s at Fox Valley Technical College in Grand Chute.
Outagamie County Public Health Director Mary Dorn says they can screen up to 300 people a day. She says they’ve heard of people asking for a test, because they’ve had symptoms, and they haven’t been able to get one.
Dorn says if there’s a large demand, beyond their daily testing limit, they’ll ask the state to keep the site open longer.
The location is only scheduled to be open this week.
Today is the final day of targeted testing for people picked by local health departments.
Anyone in the community, with at least one COVID-19 symptom, will be able to go there tomorrow through Friday. The location is for people living in Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties.
