Children's Conducting Contest at the Oshkosh Area Community Band Concert

For this FREE event, bring the family to The Grand Oshkosh on July 24. Children of all ages will be able to participate in the annual children’s conducting ‘competition’. One contestant will be awarded the opportunity to conduct the band in playing “Our Director” march. P.D.Q. Bach’s March of the Cute Little Wood Sprites will be played along with Animation, a score to an imaginary cartoon written as a tribute to Warner Brothers Looney Tunes scores by Carl Stalling as written by Randall Strawdridge.
