Leaders in the village of Fox Crossing are hoping to hear ideas tonight on a large park project along Highway CB.
Woodland Prairie Park will be across the street from village hall, and it’s a 64-acre site.
Amanda Geiser is the village’s parks and recreation director. She says they’ve talked about the park before, but now is the right time to move forward with some plans.
Geiser says the site is so large that they can have a number of different uses, and keep part of it as a natural, wooded area.
There’s a community workshop tonight from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at village hall.
Geiser says people can also give village leaders their thoughts on the park through the village’s website.
