I Have a Dream

Monday, Aug, 26 2013

It was an iconic speech.
Dr. King and his dream, now 50 years old.

There was a march to D.C. over the weekend to commemorate the anniversary.

Also over the weekend, I ran into something that really drove home the meaning behind that iconic speech. It was a simple, quiet moment for me, but it really made me stop and think. It was powerful. And I'll share the story on the PhilCast Monday afternoon.

Not Dead?

Thursday, Aug, 22 2013

The Thursday PhilCast will have some odd stories:

--The lady on I-43 riding on her motorcycle with no hands.....and bare breasts.

--The guy in Wisconsin who hit a manure truck while testing and driving.

--"Super Agers"...and I put producer Z-Bart to the test on this one.

--Dad gives guns and ammo to his son, who goes out and kills with it.

--A guy was dead for 45 minutes...then he wasn't dead any more!

--Lips LaBelle with Hollywood news and gossip 4:30-ish.

Working at the car wash

Tuesday, Aug, 20 2013

On Wednesday from 1:30-ish to 2:30-ish before the PhilCast I will be available to wash your car in my PhilCast swimsuit, despite my bad back! What a team player.

It's the Woodward Radio car wash for United Way. I'll wash your car, take a picture with you and give you a copy of last year's PhilCast DVD all for a minimum donation of $25.00 for the cause.
It all happens pre-show in the Woobie parking lot on Radio Road, Appleton's east side.
