The doors will be open tonight at the new Appleton Historical Society Museum and Resource Center in the downtown.
The nonprofit group is hosting an open house from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The museum is in the 100 block of N. Durkee Street.
Tom Sutter is the president of the historical society, and he says the open house is free to the public.
Sutter says they’ll have rotating exhibits. He says current ones focus on maps of the city through the years, and the history of bands and musical groups.
