FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Bond is set at $1.5 million for a Fond du Lac man charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
According to the criminal complaint, Justin Hamilton allegedly assaulted and threatened his wife and forced her to buy a handgun for him because he’s a convicted felon.
The criminal complaint also says Hamilton allegedly planned to shoot his wife and a man accused of having an affair with her. The complaint goes on to say Hamilton allegedly tried to break into the man’s home and waited nearby. Hamilton’s wife alerted police, who found him with the handgun and a switchblade.
A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 5.
