The Assembly passed the Foxconn incentives package last night, and Senate President Roger Roth says it will now go to the Joint Finance Committee.
Roth says they will decide what amendments to add to the bill.
It will then be passed to the Governor to be signed into law.
Roth says there are some concerning proposed amendments including a possible 30-million dollars in additional spending.
He says the Foxconn discussions have also created momentum for the state budget. Roth says the budget is the top priority, but will run on a parallel track to Foxconn.
He says they hope to have both completed by early September.
