Shawano County Sheriff’s officials say 54-year Diane Pickett died when the house she was in exploded yesterday morning near Shawano Lake.
Officials say the state Fire Marshall was called in and after an extensive and systematic search found the woman’s remains. An autopsy is scheduled for later today.
The home is in the 6000 block of Richter Court in the town of Wescott and blew up around five yesterday morning.
The other person who lived at the home was out of state at the time.
