A congressman from Wisconsin is holding a nationally televised town hall meeting tonight.
Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan will be on CNN.
Professor Charles Franklin of Marquette University says he’s a bit surprised that Ryan agreed to the event, given the recent reluctance of lawmakers to hold them. He expects Ryan will want to talk about tax reform.
The town hall will be in Racine. CNN is picking people to ask questions, and Franklin doesn’t expect that Ryan will have to contend with angry questions.
