A major intersection on Appleton’s south side will be closed for about two weeks, because of the ongoing work on Oneida Street.
Crews will be replacing the utilities at Oneida and Calumet Streets.
City spokesman Chad Doran says it’s the last piece of utility work that the city will be doing this year. on Oneida Street. Next year, the city will replace the pavement between the Oneida Skyline Bridge and Highway 441.
The latest work comes at a time that a major intersection on the north side of the city, Richmond and Northland Avenues, is also closed.
