The New London Public Museum wants people to paint rocks to celebrate its 100th birthday.
Brenda Hansen is a board member of the Friends of the New London Public Museum. She says people all over the country are participating in a craze where they find a rock, paint it, and then leave it for someone else to find. She says the rocks usually include inspirational messages or fun designs.
Hansen says people should include the number 100 in their pictures to honor the birthday. She says they can also share what they find or make on Facebook by adding #NLPMRocks100.
Hansen says they also have rocks available at the museum.
