There isn’t enough demand for a hotel in Sherwood yet.
Village Administrator Randy Friday says a consultant analyzed the market from a number of perspectives. He says because of the nearly High Cliff State Park, they would generate enough leisure travelers. But he says they don’t have companies in town that regularly bring in workers for meetings.
Friday says the consultant was going to do a more in-depth review, after reporting the initial findings, but village leaders decided to hold off. He says they might revisit it in a few years. He says there is a need for hotels in that part of the Fox Valley.
