A plant on Oshkosh’s south side will be closing in November.
Pioneer Metal Finishing notified the state Department of Workforce Development that 52 employees will be laid off. The company’s facility is on W. 28th Avenue off of Oregon Street.
Pioneer Metal officials say about 10 of the workers will be offered jobs at the company’s plant in Ashwaubenon.
Pioneer Metal is based in Ashwaubenon, and it will have eight locations around the U.S. and Mexico after the Oshkosh facility closes.
