A De Pere woman avoided a trial on charges she was high on marijuana when she killed a Freedom woman in a crash.
Twenty-one-year-old Angelica Munsell entered a no contest plea to charges of homicide by drugged driving and marijuana possession last Friday. Her trial was supposed to start tomorrow.
Forty-six-year-old Sara Wallace was killed in October of 2016. Prosecutors say Munsell crossed the center line on Highway N, near Greiner Road, south of Freedom. They say she was going almost 80 miles an hour, and she hit Wallace head-on.
They say Munsell doesn’t remember the crash, and she had marijuana in her purse.
