The city of Appleton is looking for a new set of poems to stamp into sidewalks this year.
The program is now in its sixth year, and a group will pick up to five poems.
Public Works Director Paula Vandehey she says each one is stamped in at least three locations, in different parts of the city. She says they have about 75 stamped sidewalks so far, and there’s a map of the locations on the city’s website.
The deadline to submit a poem is February 22nd. Vandehey say they can’t be longer than 10 lines, or have more than 35 characters per line.
The winners will be announced on March 22nd.
