The 21-year-old man accused of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl from western Wisconsin and killing her parents will stand trial.
Jake Patterson was in Barron County court this morning, and he waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He’s charged with abducting Jayme Closs at her home in the Barron area, after murdering James and Denise Closs.
Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies say Closs escaped from a rural home in the Town of Gordon. Patterson is accused of holding the teen there for nearly three months.
Patterson will be back in court for an arraignment on March 27th.
