The state girls basketball tournament is back in the Green Bay area this weekend.
The first games are today at the Resch Center.
Spokeswoman Brenda Krainik of the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau says it’s the seventh year they’re holding it in Ashwaubenon. She says there are 17 schools from around the state coming to the event.
Hortonville is playing in Division Two. Krainik says they put up decorations in the team hotels to welcome all of the players. The tournament’s economic impact is about $2.6 million.
