The Winnebago County Board is still debating whether to buy more land next to the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh.
The Parks Department wants to acquire 63-acres of farmland east of the current park. The land would be used for parking at the new grandstand and stage.
Supervisor Mike Norton likes the idea of freeing up parkland.
The county is offering $310,000 for the farmland. The Winnebago County Board will vote on the proposal later this spring.
